The Global mobileGov Awards is a worldwide contest aiming
			to promote advances in the field, and to create a platform to share
			knowledge on recent developments in mobile public services and public
			sector modernisation. The Global mobile Gov Awards represents
			excellence in various international projects in designing the future
			of eGovernment. 
 
 The jury of Global mobileGov
			Awards, held along with mobileGov World Summit conference, evaluated
			various projects from around the world in terms of their
			innovativeness, efficiency and other criteria. After two rounds of
			evaluation, 15 best projects were shortlisted out of which Mobile
			Seva project bagged the âmobileGov Honorable Mention Award" at
			Global mobileGov Awards 2017 for the innovations in development of
			mobile based services as a new access method to deliver government
			service to citizens. Among the finalists, the other nominations were
			Mobile Government Support Center (South Korea), JPA4U Mobile
			(Malaysia), Centre of Digital Innovation (UAE), National Open Data
			Platform (Colombia), 360 Degree Enterprise Mobility for
			Municipalities (Turkey), and other countries. 
 
 The
			certificate was conferred to C-DAC Mumbai at the mobileGov World
			Summit conference held at the in Brighton UK, 7-9 May 2017. The award
			was received in person by Mr. Kapil Kant Kamal, PTO, C-DAC Mumbai.
